Digital Coast Partner Tools for the Community Rating System
The Community Rating System is a voluntary program administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) that rewards communities for engaging in activities that reduce flood risk with discounts on flood insurance premiums. Each CRS activity is worth a certain number of points, and the more points a community earns, the larger the discount.
This story map was created for communities to learn about the new products developed by Digital Coast Partners and ESRI that were designed to help them participate in the CRS program.
